Natalia Kills releases "Free" video

After weeks of hype Natalia Kills finally released the video to her third official single "Free"... *sigh*... once again, I'm lost for words.

Let me start off by saying that the ORIGINAL version of "Free" WITHOUT Will.I.Am is one of my favourite tracks off of her debut album "Perfectionist", but to be perfectly honest with you the fact he has been featured on a remixed version to try and sell the single fucks me off royally. Ive never been this fucked off and disturbed by something since the Norwood Highway Massacre of 2007, THAT'S how put off i am right now...

*slowly sips tea* Shall we begin with the basics?... good... *places saucer on tables*

• "hen the highest rated comments on your video are "NICE PUBES", "Will.I.Am can't rap for shit" & "Shes like a generic Lady GaGa", its pretty clear that... well. YOUR DOING IT WRONG!
• The whole idea of the video just shows that Natalia is the biggest one trick pony in the game. Shes been saying all this bullshit since the start of her stint as Natalia Kills (i say stint as i honestly do NOT see her marauding as Natalia in a years time).
• The GaGa comparisons are getting beyond a joke now. When they first started it was slightly amusing and interesting, but not its getting to a point where its almost like GaGa released the same video 2 years ago during "The Fame" era
• For someone who rattles on about 'Artistic Credibility' you had to remix your single to feature the worst rapper off all time, JUST to try and get a solid hit. There is no artistic or deeper meaning behind the remixing, you want a hit, that's it bitch
• When it comes to success, always the bridesmaid, never the bride
• The song (if one unplugs their earphones during the Will.I.Am sections) becomes very enjoyable. I suggest you try it.
• The song reminds me of Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" and section of the video remind me of Sky Ferreira's video to "One". This one has no more originality than Glee's pathetic cover versions do.

DEAR NATALIA KILLS, FIND A MORE IMPRESSIVE, ORIGINAL ACT AND STICK TO IT, YOUR BI-POLAR MESSAGES AND OVERUSED GIMMICK ARE BECOMING INCREASINGLY OLD AND ABOUT AS STIFF AS A POST-JUNE 2010 COLUMBO!!!

Rihanna Sued over 'S&M' plagiarism claims, AGAIN

No, she isn't being sued by David Lachapelle AGAIN, this time she is being sued by Phillip Paulus after the imagery in her controversial video for 'S&M' 'exploited' some of the shots from his back collection dating back to August 2010 at the earliest.

The first time Rihanna was sued over the contends of the 'S&M' video was just a couple of months ago (February me thinks...) when David Lachapelle sued RiRI for stealing the entire video idea and its imagery from HIS back collection and portfolio, and rightfully so. It was obvious at the time that the images were 'liberated' from Lachapelles work, but that's not the story here, this is about Paulus and RiRi's beef.

Paulus highlighted one part in particular, a clip of Rihanna strung up behind a wall of transparent plastic - as being directly lifted from one of his pieces, E! Online states in their update on the story. Here is Paulus's official statement about the video

"Why a worldwide celebrity is not able to afford a creative director, who creates individual concepts and stagings, is incomprehensible to me. To create new things within the creative cosmos, you can only expect this to come from a real genius, there is no doubt about that. However, in this case there is no real genius who created their own work; instead they stole ideas from a creative talent. Furthermore, every other creative professional should realise how supremely embarrassing it is to copy the work of colleagues from the artistic world and then to be praised for it."

Paulus's lawyer later added that

"For legitimate reasons the use of copying Paulus's work over a million times requires an agreement that protects the copyright and the achievements and creations of our client which has never been given by our client, neither to the artist Rihanna nor to her label Universal Music. According to this, the copyright laws of our client has been infringed and the worldwide million-wise exploitation of the video 'S&M' is unlawful... [and] Paulus will take legal action against Rihanna."

Damn sis, where i come from them's fighting words and if one takes it upon themselves to google Paulus's collection, i think its safe to assume that when this goes to court, it will be a wonderful day for a scalping.

'Hew Da Fawk Want Waaar' has NEVER seemed to appropriate, until now anyway. So, what do y'all think about this whole shizznit about the 'S&M' video. Personally, i find the stealing allegations more shocking that the Video itself, but that's just me #shade
