Madonna working on new studio album, refuses to work with RedOne

Well gawrls, its official, on Monday evening her long time manager Guy Oseary took to his personal twitter account to confirmed that the reigning Queen of Pop Madonna returned to the studio to begin work on her new studio album, the follow up to her 2008 release "Hard Candy".

For the release, it is reported that she is looking to record something more along the lines of the flawless "Confessions on a Dance floor" and "Ray of Light" as opposed to her last studio release "Hard Candy", which despite selling well and producing a massive hit single wasn't as well received as her previous work. Musical inspirations for this album include Jessica 6, The Sound of Arrows & Beth Ditto, but apparently the Queen has ruled out the possibility of working with longtime Lady GaGa producer and "Bad Romance" hitmaker RedOne.

According to the well known fan site Queen Madonna, the performer refused to work with established producers, opting for up-and-coming music-makers instead, RedOne included.

"Madonna is working on an ambitious project. She has listened to the demo recordings which were submitted to her in the last few years, and some of them have already been completely upset by her," the site claims. "She's the writer of almost all of the new lyrics. Producer Joe Henry is involved in two songs so far. Most of the other producers are not so famous. Her record company wanted her to work with renowned producers such as RedOne, which she refused to do." The site's studio insider also suggested that one track has already been recorded, as well as listing a number of musical influences. "One of the demo tracks that have already been recorded in the last few days starts off with some piano and violins then turning into a dance track," they said. "Its title may be 'Way Back Home', which is a demo tape from Diagram Of The Heart.

While GaGa stans around the world have been losing their shit quicker than Brandy lost control of her car over the news about Madge not wanting to work with RedOne, i honestly cant say i blame her. Its been proven that RedOnes work with any other artist is usually shite and is more basic than Ke$ha covering a Natalia Kills track produced by Doctor Luke. Also, I'm not here for another "Hard Candy". While I'm generally not here for Madonna either, if she actually released another "Confessions" or "Ray of Light" then i would stan that album like no tomorrow.

lessors will have to deal. The REAL Queen of Pop is back, and shes coming for wigs...

Natalia Kills releases "Free" video

After weeks of hype Natalia Kills finally released the video to her third official single "Free"... *sigh*... once again, I'm lost for words.

Let me start off by saying that the ORIGINAL version of "Free" WITHOUT Will.I.Am is one of my favourite tracks off of her debut album "Perfectionist", but to be perfectly honest with you the fact he has been featured on a remixed version to try and sell the single fucks me off royally. Ive never been this fucked off and disturbed by something since the Norwood Highway Massacre of 2007, THAT'S how put off i am right now...

*slowly sips tea* Shall we begin with the basics?... good... *places saucer on tables*
  • "hen the highest rated comments on your video are "NICE PUBES", "Will.I.Am can't rap for shit" & "Shes like a generic Lady GaGa", its pretty clear that... well. YOUR DOING IT WRONG!
  • The whole idea of the video just shows that Natalia is the biggest one trick pony in the game. Shes been saying all this bullshit since the start of her stint as Natalia Kills (i say stint as i honestly do NOT see her marauding as Natalia in a years time).
  • The GaGa comparisons are getting beyond a joke now. When they first started it was slightly amusing and interesting, but not its getting to a point where its almost like GaGa released the same video 2 years ago during "The Fame" era
  • For someone who rattles on about 'Artistic Credibility' you had to remix your single to feature the worst rapper off all time, JUST to try and get a solid hit. There is no artistic or deeper meaning behind the remixing, you want a hit, that's it bitch
  • When it comes to success, always the bridesmaid, never the bride
  • The song (if one unplugs their earphones during the Will.I.Am sections) becomes very enjoyable. I suggest you try it.
  • The song reminds me of Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" and section of the video remind me of Sky Ferreira's video to "One". This one has no more originality than Glee's pathetic cover versions do.
In Summary...
DEAR NATALIA KILLS, FIND A MORE IMPRESSIVE, ORIGINAL ACT AND STICK TO IT, YOUR BI-POLAR MESSAGES AND OVERUSED GIMMICK ARE BECOMING INCREASINGLY OLD AND ABOUT AS STIFF AS A POST-JUNE 2010 COLUMBO!!!

Gif of the Week #4

Ohh. My. Fucking. God
This is my fucking life in a GIF...
MY LIFE = COMPLETE

Song of the Week [POP]: Wynter Gordon - Buy My Love

After last weeks 'Song of the Week' pulled in an all time low numbers for that category (i blame the fact it was a ballad, not Queen Bey... it might have been Bey...) this week i decided to revert back to what pop is best know for. PU$$Y POPPIN' ANTHEMS!

To get back into the swing of things (no euphemism intended) i decided that it was time to finally post something about a new fave of mine, the 'Dirty Talk'ing Wynter Gordon, someone who as she attempts to tackle/conquer the UK in the coming months will be talked about A LOT on WNHFT.

A few weeks back, Wynter released her debut album called 'With the Music i Die", the album itself is one of the best pop debuts Ive heard in a VERY long time and is something that is totally worth checking out (and buying?) but since this sure as fuck ain't no album review i was forced to pick just one track & make the track of the week. So... after much deliberation i picked what is sure to be 'Gold Digger' anthem of the century (move the fuck over Kanye, take a seat...) "Buy My Love".

The song itself lives up to what Wynter has previous released before the albums release (the amazingly epic 'Dirty Talk' and the fantastic 'Til Death') and in a sense carrys on the very clubby/sleazy feel most of her previous work with the likes of Flo Rida, The Freemasons and even her unreleased tracks all showcase. Its nothing totally original, but that doesn't make it any less of a fucking amazing track. Following a strongly sung verse with lyrics like "You can be my sugar daddy, ill call you ma honey honey" all carried with Wynters unique vocals - backed by an almost 'Japanese' esk electro beat - the song bursts into one of the most annoyingly catchy chorus's all year with some pretty 'interesting' lyrics like the following.

"Theres a million ways to show your devotion.
So many ways to sway my emotions
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeew
Don't. You. Hesitate. To. Buy. My. Love"

Needless to say, any song that is about finding 'yo self a sugar daddy and working that old sucker for all he's got automatically assures that this will be getting played on repeat for weeks upon weeks. The fact that the chorus is so downright bubbly and has a harikuku feel to it also helped this. While it may not be the most original or inventive song to grace our iPods in a post Keri Hilson "Pretty Girl Rock" world, the track fits its purpose. Its a fun summer single, a huge smash in the waiting and is another solid, indisputable reason why Wynter Gordon is fucking amazing.

Now then, Hew Da Fawk Mad? Your faves could never! etc. etc....

Best Bits: The 'Heeeeeeew' section in the chrous is sweet enough to make your teeth rot, but it is easily the most catchy part of the song.
Shit Bits: Its a bit short... thats it.... nothing else to fault
RATING: 5 out of 5

Wynter Gordon's debut album "With the Music i Die" is currently out in Australia and will hopefully be released in the UK/US within the foreseeable future. Listen to the sure-to-be single "Buy My Love" above and leave your thoughts in the comments below. Another hit for Wynter, or a little bit shit?

Example releases second single "Stay Awake"

After the success of his first single "Changed the way you kissed me" rapper Example released his follow up single and official second single overall from his forthcoming second album "Playing in the Shadows", the club ready "Stay Awake".

If you've been to see Example in the past couple of months, chances are you will have already heard this song. Its the one that goes (in a slight turn of lyrical fuckery) "If we don't kill ourselves, we'll be the leaders of a messed up generation"[1] and sounds like musical crack live. That feeling doesn't necessarily translate as well into a studio recording as it does a live performance, but is "Stay Awake" a bad track? Lets look at the facts here......

  • The Hook is more prominent here than on the last single "CTWYKM" and in a sense works much better here than the slightly annoying bleeps and bloops of the former.
  • Example is one of the few UK acts around with a very good, very strong male vocal. On the last track this was never really shown on the previous single but luckily is showcased on "Stay Awake", even if Ke$ha's booty call hoe known as the 'Auto-Tune' IS used quite heavily
  • The song itself stats well, but begins to slowly drag on as the track progresses. It never gets boring, but it isn't as interesting halfway through as the intro would lead you to believe.
  • Its not one of his best single choices, but will it be a hit? Umm... more than likely?
  • Early response to the single seems mixed, with some saying it is a "Fucking Smash" and other saying it "isn't as good as it was live"... keep in mind "Bad Romance"[2] was met with mixed/negative reviews, so we shall see...
So there we have it folks, Examples single is a pretty decent song with an instantly catchy hook, that while it may not be one of the best single choices ever made in the history of music will still bode well on the charts.
Well done everyone... alright work i suppose...

PS[1] - For those who replied on twitter. I do NOT think the song is about suicide. i think by the "if we don't kill ourselves, we'll be the leaders..." line he means "After all the shit we put ourselves through, if we don't kill ourselves by doing it then the world is gonna be a fucked up place with all these fucked up people in it". THAT'S what i think (hope) he means...
PSS[2] - I am in no way comparing this to the ever wonderful, untouchable 'Bad Romance', so calm yo tits

Middle finger in the air if your WHAT is WHAT :O :O :O

First things first. I have a moral dilemma here. Can i review this song ? A song so trashy that it is beatiful in its own twisted way ? Yeah, i can, quite easily to be honest.

I was introduced to the song 'Party Like A Millionaire' - The Millionaires by our loving blog creator and Fuhrer Busty St. Clair. With an awesome technopop vibe and hair that is more out of control than Brandy on a highway , my initial thoughts about the song were positive. Then the first line is uttered...

'Middle finger in the air if your pussy's tight.'

Followed by the equally brilliant

'All the boys are getting hard down to fuck tonight.'

And that was me. Jordy was sold faster than a black child at Madonna's house. This song is the latest to use what i like to call the SLS - "Shock Lyrics Strategy". Other notable songs would include Khia - My Neck, My Back and The Outhere Brothers - Wiggle Wiggle.

Im not the most politically correct person but when i first heard this song i thought 'Oh my GAWD !' and since this its became a personal favourite (though it must be avoided when small children or the elderly are near). I discovered the hard way that adults do not like their children to be subjected to songs which include verses such as...

"You want this bomb ass pussy
Who's got that bomb ass pussy
I've got that bomb ass pussy
White girl with a bomb ass pussy"

Kids are exposed to that kinda shit all the time. On TV, in magazines, on the streets, so why shouldn't people make songs as goddamn filthy and nasty as they possibly can. My advice ? YOU GO GIRLS ! You show 'The Man' whos the boss !!!

Fuck the Po-Po !

Hot Track Alert: Nicole Scherzinger - Wet

NO, its not about what your thinking ya dirty bastards... ugh... it is actually monumentally less seedy than the title instantly leads teens everywhere to imagine what the song would be about. Not even kidding... yep... im sure its not about THAT anyway... umm... moving on, lets get down to buisiness.

This little helping from Nicole's debut album "Killer Love" is the other track on the album that just screams single as well as rumored 4th single 'Killer Love'. 'Wet' is simply about wanting to live life to the fullest by partying all night long as hard as you can to the point where you begin to sweat, thus making you wet. Clever no? No? I thought not, but anyway...With a sound not to far off of that of another VERY recent pop hit from another leading lady (i aint saying who, figure it out for yourself hoes) this is one of the few songs left on Nicoles long awaited debut album that just SCREAMS 'singlesinglesingle', and while the rest of the track are good none quite match up to the almight 'Wet' (well, besides 'Say Yes').

Nicoles interesting and strong lead vocals, teamed up with the insantly catchy industrial-esk techno beat all serve each other well and both create a fairly amazing pop song with well sung verses and a sweeping, catchy and undeniable chorus with such 'interesting' lyrics like 'Well im gon take ma clothes off, take a leap and surf through the crowd' and the cat like purr and animalistic moan of 'weeeeeeeeeeet' this song could easily take the place of 'Killer Love' as 4th single if peoples views on messanging boards are taken into consideration. If not? well then, lets just enjoy the track for what it is, another pretty solid Pu$$y Poppin' anthem from the lovely Miss. Scherzinger.

Unreleased Songs: A Virtual Goldmine?

For the last couple of days, Ive been wondering just what i should write about on WNHFT that could be considered an 'original article' and not a 'news report'. For days i sat around like a flop ass hoe trying to think what i could talk about when it suddenly hit me like a ton of Bricks, the relatively controversial topic of unreleased/leaked songs by everyone's favourite artists, flops and basic bitches!

It didn't take long to narrow the list down into a small little selection of some of the best unreleased songs available due to various different means (hackers, promo discs, old & scarce EPs etc.). For this article, imma discuss 5 songs by 5 different artists - some of whom i love, others... ehh... - to try and showcase what a wonderful place the Internet can be (when not being came onto by dirty old men, having your personal details stolen or being dragged to the depths of hell by an angry, PMS'y stan). Here we go now y'all. Enjoy!

Lady GaGa - Wonderful
GaGa's first 'single' while called Lady GaGa, this piano ballad is one of GaGas better songs, and i sill am not quite sure why it never made the cut. While not an official single, the song charted high on a few radio airplay charts and remains a firm fan favourite. An excellent example that somewhere along the line, a great song will remain on the cutting room floor for other, less FUCKING AMAZING songs...
Katy Perry - Part of Me
A leftover from 'Teenage Dream', the song has the same basic tune/melody as that from the actual album but never made the cut as to avoid making songs on the album 'sound the same' (well done Katy *rolls eyes*). This track is easily at least 10 times better than half of the crap on the final version of 'Teenage Dream' and rumor has it that it will feature on the upcoming re-release of said Album. Fingers crossed...
Ke$ha - Bootycall
Presumably written as part of the 'Animal' sessions somewhere between 2008-2010, this is one of the few Ke$ha songs i can still listen to without wanting to ram a pair of scissors into my ears with the fury of Xtina looking at her first week sales. A simple, basic ass pop ditty, but still a fun party song with some pretty hilarious lyric. Chances are this will NOT be features on any upcoming release, but still, its a good wee listen...
LIGHTS - Perfect
Written for some flop ass television show as opposed to her debut album 'The Listening', "Perfect" is a piano pop song about how the hoe ain't perfect, but hey, no one is. While her debut album is pretty flawless as it is, i honestly can't say i want it on a re-release or some shit, and chances are it wont be on her highly anticipated second album, but still, it remains one of my favourite LIGHTS songs to this day. A fab wee hidden gem...
Mini Viva - I'm Hooked
Ahh Mini Viva... how i miss thee. After being dropped when their third single "One Touch" flopped harder than the new Ciara CD singing the hits of Xtina and Keri Hilson, Mini Vivas album was indefinetly postponed and the songs recorded remain locked up in Xenomia's little vault waiting for another artist to come butcher them. "I'm Hooked" is one of the better tracks that was leaked via the means of a promo disc and perfectly sums up just why Mini Viva being dropped was a pop travesty.

And there we have it folks, a small yet definitive list of the of the best unreleased tracks on the net. I ain't supplying download links because that would get this blog taken down quicker than i would driving in front of Brandy down the freeway, but none the less. Listen to the tracks above and leave yo comments below telling us what you think of them!

Beyoncé set to debut at #1, 300,000 copies sold

Well gorls, its true. After doing little promo, having a series of flop singles and weeks of worry from stans and fans alike, Queen Bey is set to SLAY the US Billboard chart this week during "4" first week of release.

After doing no promo and having a series of flop singles Bey is STILL set to slay the Billboard charts this week with an estimated 300,000 copies sold. Thats more than Bionic, Femme Fatale, LOUD and Teenage Dream did during their first week after being promoted to fuck and back again (except Britney, she doesnt promote no mo).

After my post last week "The Beyoncé Apocalyse" im happy to report that Beyonce is indeed slaying and by the looks of things by the end of the week she could easily scrape 1,000,000 copies sold worldwide.

2011's "Bionic" hew?

Nicole Scherzinger to release 'Killer Love' as 4th single

Yes guys, its finally fucking offical. Nicole Scherzinger WILL release the Pu$$y poppin' anthem to be that is 'Killer Love' as her fourth single off of her debut album, also called 'Killer Love'.

The RedOne produced club banger is much more in the vein of her first single 'Poison' than that of the previous singles 'Don't Hold Your Breath' and 'Right There'. While no official confirmation has been given from either Miss. Scherzinger or her team, Shuffleme.net had this to say about the apparently impending single release:

"Nicole Scherzinger announced her next single from her new solo album, Killer Love, and coincidentally the 4th single is going to be the title track for the album, Killer Love. No word yet on a video shoot date. The song was confirmed as track number 5 on VA Ultra-Pop 74 CD2, which always includes all upcoming singles from mainstream pop artists."

And there we have it folks, basic comfirmation that the best track on 'Killer Love' is finally going to see the light of day. Since ive been stanning for this more than Britney stans for Starbucks, lets say im happy this is getting released.

Gawrls, the Pu$$y Poppin' anthem of 2011 is upon us!
Listen to the track below. Buy it on iTunes when the single is offically announced and is close to peaking. Thoughts on the single? Leave them below in the comments...
